THEhard actress Valentina Nappi he gets back to talk about himself and this time he does it thanks to an artistic performance that can be experienced in the province of Napoli al CAM Museum of Casoria, that is the Casoria Contemporary Art Museum il 17 June 2022.
It is a very special, albeit not new, exhibition entitled "She smells Valentina Nappi“, Which provides audio, visual and olfactory stimulation by visitors who will be invited to literally smell the star.
The goal is to induce one reflection on the boundary between aesthetic and sensorial dimensions activating the olfactory neurons.
The actress prepared with the essences of a chef
Will be it chef Pasquale Trotta to use on the body of Valentina Nappi delle particular essences to activate the senses of visitors. In this way a correspondence will also begin between the senses and the atavistic knowledge of all of us that will bring back to memories and to the very definition of reality.
As communicated by the creator and director of the Campania museum of contemporary art Antonio Manfredi, the performance will be accompanied by dilated and ambient sounds made live by Kamaak who will also perform songs from their EP “Imperfect Disconnect”.
The importance of smells for memories
It is always the museum director who explains that:
Smells help us to recognize reality and to catalog what is good and what is dangerous, to smell means to go back and remember what you learned as a child or look for new definitions for new smells. Thus, it will offer itself to the olfactory experience of the public by putting into action, through the odorous molecules, a correspondence to atavistic knowledge, to memories and to the very definition of reality.
