Will inspired by a novel written by Charles Dickens in 1843, Christmas song, Christmas episode of UPAS. After the normal weekend break, therefore on 24 and 25 December, on the evening of December 26, 2022 the special episode, which has now become a tradition, dedicated to Christmas will be broadcast. This year, the the protagonist will be the policeman Luigi Cotugno that he will receive a great gift: the visit of three ghosts who could make him a better man.

Louis Cotugno, one of Guido's colleagues, miserly person and little devoted to altruism, will be, in a non-random way, the undisputed protagonist of the Santo Stefano episode of Un Posto al Sole. It will be to him, in fact, that they will do visit the three ghosts from the Charles Dickens story, A Christmas Carol. The man will interpret Ebenezer Scrooge, obviously revisited in a modern key and the ghosts he will be confronted with will be Past, Present and Future.
During the episode, thanks to the encounter with these spirits, what will come out is a secret that man has been keeping for some time. But that's not all: in this special adventure, the protagonist will have the opportunity to reflect on the true values of life, will rediscover the true spirit of Christmas and it is very likely that abandon greed to become a generous and selfless man.
Will it really be like this? It wouldn't surprise us! Especially seen and considered that it is not the first time that the authors of UPAS decide to entrust some important life messages to certain "recalls". It is not clear, even today, who will be playing the three ghosts. Since, however, Cotugno is a policeman, he is conceivable that it will be his colleagues who will do it, namely Cerruti, Mariella and Guido.
Cinzia, is she the woman Guido is about to see again?
One of the previews that is keeping fans of Un Posto al Sole in suspense is themeeting that Guido will make with an old acquaintance of his. Rumors regarding the identity of this character, which by now it is assumed to be a woman, follow each other.
There are several who they identify her with Cinzia, Guido's former flame, which could come back and upset the balance between the policeman and "his" Mariella. Supporting this hypothesis are the declarations of the actress Veronica Mazza who, a few months ago, confirmed her return to the cast precisely in the role of Cinzia. The meeting will take place in the December 23 episode: will it really be her?
