The Aperitif under the stars returns to the Capodimonte Observatory in Naples with scientific conversation and astronomical observations.
THEAstronomical Observatory of Capodimonte in Naples organize a new evening ofAperitif under the stars, an appointment now loved by all amateur astronomers and simple curious who want to always discover something more about our universe or our city.
The evening will take place on 7 September 2017 and, this time, the topic treated by the guest on duty will depart from the astronomical sphere, while remaining in the scientific one.
In fact, engineer Giada Limongi will talk to us about the problems of our metropolitan city in a seminar entitled "The critical issues of the Naples Metropolitan Area: natural risks, anthropic risks and environmental degradation".
The scientific conversation
During the conversation, preceded by the tasting of appetizers, we will discuss all of them factors of danger of the metropolitan city, the most densely populated in Europe, to understand how to best address them. The risks of the area, which can also be subject to natural disasters, will be analyzed, and we will try to sensitize everyone on the importance of giving greater awareness of the population.
Astronomical observations
At the end of the conversation, theaperitif on the terrace, by R&G catering, and will follow the fascinating astronomical observations of the stars in the sky of Naples with the help of the collaborators of the Neapolitan Astrofili Union.
