Il Augusteo theater of Naples, Friday May 3, 2024, will host a great event, we are talking about PFM sings De André Anniversary. The band, forty-five years after touring “Fabrizio De André and PFM in concert”, returns to enchant the public by performing on stages throughout Italy with a series of concerts to celebrate the partnership with the Genoese singer.
The band will bring some of the most famous songs to the stage and to these will also be added songs taken from The Good News, completely revisited. The event will have guests Flavio premoli, Michele Ascolese e Luca Zabbini.
The history of the PFM band
La PFM was born in 1970 and immediately stood out for its unique style that combines the power of rock, progressive and classical music creating a perfect union.
The band has enjoyed great success and received many awards. In fact, in 2016 she was placed in 50th place among the 100 most important artists in the world by the prestigious English magazine Classic Rock, while Rolling Stone UK placed the album “Photos of ghost” in 19th place among the most important records of progressive music.
PFM sings De André it is a live album that was released in 2008 and is nothing more than a tribute dedicated to the Genoese singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André. For all lovers of his music it will therefore be a special event that is forbidden to be missed.
