Since June 30 2021 the entrance to the Beach of the Monks, perhaps the only free beach of Posillipo in Naples, will be on booking to ensure a more comfortable and safe entry, especially in Covid time, to anyone.
In this way you will avoid crowds and queues at the entrance and you will also have to respect some rules of behavior, simple rules at the basis of civil life.
The Beach of the Nuns is located near Palazzo Donn'Anna and is accessed by a gate a few meters from the Carelli Park, on the side opposite the sea. To access it, cross a private beach through a special platform that easily leads to the free beach.
Recall that another beautiful free beach which accessed by reservation is the Gaiola.
How to book access
To book your entrance to the Spiaggia delle Monache you must use the appropriate one site of the Municipality of Naples, the same that is used to book access to some museums as well. Furthermore:
- the reservation can be made for one maximum of 5 people at a time, of which at least 1 adult;
- for each participant, name, surname, place and date of birth, email address, telephone number and tax code must be indicated;
- maximum 2 accesses per week (from Monday to Sunday);
- the booking time slot is until 14.00 pm;
- it is possible to cancel the reservation;
- the number of available places is 350;
- the reservation is valid for the whole day, that is from 8.30 am to 18.00 pm.
