Archeology, ancient art and digital simulation will be the protagonists of the "Archeo Video Festival" at the Mav of Herculaneum!
From 15 18 to October 2015, Mav - Virtual Archaeological Museum of Herculaneum it will be the location for the"Archeo Video Festival", the exceptional review of films and documentaries dedicated to archeology, ancient art and new digital simulation technologies.
The event, organized by Pro Loco Hercvlanevm, is presented with a rich program of events, between historical re-enactments and spectacular projections dedicated to adults and children.
Among the films, documentaries, animations and previews, world and national, which will be part of the event will be, to name a few, "Nefertina on the Nile", "The grand cirque Calder", "The imaginary worlds of Winsor Mc Cay", "Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum", "Herculaneum, Villa dei Papiri", "Herculaneum, passage to the northwest", "Herculaneum - Diaries of darkness and light", "Romulus and Remus" and many others.
All surrounded by guided tours at the archaeological area of Herculaneum, by performances by the "Legio 1 Adiutrix" and "Gruppo Storico Oplonti" groups and by interesting meetings, threads and interventions dedicated to the world of archeology, the latest discoveries and food consumed in ancient Rome accompanied by a tasty taste of bread prepared according to the methods of the time.
