On the occasion of the month dedicated to African American culture, the Pan will host "Waiting ... Rock! 5", the "black" preview of the exhibition on rock
Waiting for V edition of ROCK!, the international exhibition on Music and its languages, scheduled for next June, the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples has an exceptional preview.
The 20 February 2015, at the lobby of the PAN, Will be held "Waiting ... ROCK! 5", a pleasant "taste" of Black music.
In particular, the first appointment with ROCK !, will be dedicated to the 100 years of ASALH - Association for the Study of African American Life and History, born, in fact, in the distant 1915. An event conceived on the occasion of Black History Month 2015, to pay homage to a century of African American music, history, culture and philosophy.
Through an emotional journey they will know each other "Sacred monsters" del Black, characters who have made history and who represent real icons such as, to name a few, Jelly "Roll" Morton, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Charlie Parker, BB King, and many others.
The preview in program, therefore, will give visitors a long and pleasant afternoon of music and debates, in the company of Black Market Band and of the saxophonist Pino Ciccarelli. All embellished by the words of the Consul General of the United States of America in Naples, Colombia A. Barrosse, and of the Public Affairs office.
Last but not least, those present will be invited to taste excellent wines selected by the Italian Sommelier Foundation - Campania, including Dream, the wine chosen to celebrate the birthday of Michelle Obama, the American first lady.
