Regine di Cuori is a theatrical reading in which four actresses will read the stories told by Croce about four Neapolitan women of the 400th and 500th centuries

There are only a few days left until the conclusion of the May of the Monuments, but the events scheduled are still numerous and one of the most interesting is the one that will take place at Bread of Via dei Mille.

Always under the patronage of the Municipality of Naples, the 30 and 31 May will be recited Queens of Hearts, a theatrical reading following the writings of Neapolitan Stories and Legends by Benedetto Croce, which also give its name to this year's May edition.

It is a real one theatrical adaptation of some extracts of his work and will be staged, in the atypical setting of the Pan, by the actresses Emma Ciotola, Daniela Garofalo, Lina Perrella and Alessandra Sasso, who will tell as many stories of Neapolitan women narrated by Croce himself. The female figures we will talk about will be Giulia Gonzaga, Isabella del Balzo, Laura Terracina and Tirinella Capece. On stage there will also be an actor, Patrizio Bartiromo, who will interpret Benedetto Croce, while slides will be projected to comment on the scenes.

The adaptation of the Queens of Hearts reading was edited by Daniela Garofalo and Lina Perrella (who also directs it) of the theater association “The red carpet”.
The first to enter the scene will be the writer from Abruzzo, followed by actresses who will identify themselves in the intense and suffered stories of four women of the 400th and 500th centuries.
