Two special evenings in search of fireflies in Bacoli with tastings of local products and wines!
Truly original appointments those of the initiative "Waiting for the fireflies“, Designed by CurioCity and scheduled for the next weekend of May 2015.
Saturday 9, Friday 15 and Sunday 17 May special evenings will be organized, with guided tours e tastings, among the vineyards of the Phlegraean area in search of the fascinating lights of Fireflies.
Events are a limited number ofso you need to hurry up to book them because, at the time of writing, the vacant seats are not many.
The walk and the fireflies
The itinerary will start near the Villa Comunale of Bacoli, just before darkness falls, and from there we will continue along the paths that cross the vineyard of the Piscina Mirabile farm. Among the rows of vines care should be taken to find the lights of the small fireflies present in the area, but if the number is high, a magnificent spectacle will be presented to the sight.
These fascinating insects are found above all in the humid countryside and move in the evening, an ideal time of day when it is possible to observe them naturally.
The number of fireflies that can be observed will vary from time to time depending on the degree of humidity of the moment, so each appointment will be different from the other.
the tastings
During the walk, it will be possible to taste numerous typical local products e taste different DOP wines., all always by the Azienda Agricola Piscina Mirabilis. In the buffet set up for the occasion, between a glass of Falanghina or Piedirosso and a plate of peppers, courgettes, peas, broad beans, aubergines, all products cooked in the oven, there will surely be something to satisfy and relax.
