Beer Fest in Pomigliano d'Arco: beer festival in the public park

26 types of beer and Bavarian specialties all to be tasted at the Pomigliano d'Arco Beer Fest which will last four more days!

The huge beer festival that has transformed the Giovanni Paolo II public park in Pomigliano d'Arco into a veritable Oktoberfest, rivaling Munich's famous celebration, will last another four days.

Rivers of beer until November 3, 2013 for the Beer Fest in Pomigliano d'Arco , in a 1200 m2 tent set up by the city's merchants and the municipality, where participants will be able to taste 26 different beer specialties and typical Bavarian cuisine , prepared by the most well-known and renowned pubs in the area, such as the Berlin, the Labyrinth, the Speakeasy and the Craic.

There are also numerous side events : performances by folk groups and emerging bands, dance performances, a children's area with inflatable rides, and even a riding area with qualified instructors, and a packed program of events. There will also be art exhibitions curated by Giovanni Antignani, with displays of vintage bicycles and Harleys, model airplanes and a mechanical bull, themed games, and a FIFA 14 tournament. On Saturday and Sunday, from 12:00 a.m. onwards, there will be an aperitif and DJ set. All admission is free!

The Beer Fest is sponsored by the Municipality of Pomigliano d'Arco and is organized by the GIMI Event Association in collaboration with Aicast Pomigliano and Creative Management.

Mayor Lello Russo hopes the event will be an opportunity to boost the city's commercial activities, giving all shopkeepers the chance to set up their own gazebo during the event.

The event is part of the policy of this administration in favor of city commerce in a difficult time not only for the working class but also, precisely, for the category of merchants, always forgotten by those who preceded us. Our support will continue with events that, during the Christmas period, will last a whole month and will affect all areas of the city that are home to commercial businesses
