The Christmas and New Year holidays are about to end, but there is still an important day to celebrate, especially for the little ones!
La Befana is coming, in fact, and even Naples is preparing to welcome her with many events and shows to spend the day with the nice old lady 6 January 2015. Remember though, the best will get sweets and toys, while the baddies will get lots of coal!
Let's find out together what are the appointments organized in the city to meet the Befana and do the load of sweets, taking advantage of this last day of vacation since Epiphany takes away all holidays !
Lungomare Caracciolo
Great Epiphany Show
Appointment with street artists, as part of Art Into Stris, a festival in which the protagonists will be guarrattelle, music and animation. An event curated by by Gabbianella cub, Sorrisi club and Compagnia dei acimbanchi.

Venetian Baroque band
Also on the Lungomare Caracciolo there is a calendar of concerts as part of “Arriva la Banda”. It is a traveling festival in which bagpipers, bands and various musicians will entertain those present. January 6 will be the final stage of a tour started in December which saw the presence of pipers in the various municipalities in the city. One of the most important bands present will be that of the bagpipers of the Venetian Baroque Band.

Piazza del Plebiscito
2015 Christmas Party
As every year, also for the Epiphany 2015 the Provincial Command of Naples of the Fire Brigade will meet in Piazza del Plebiscito to celebrate, together with the children, the arrival of the Befana. The Civic Fanfare of the Firefighters will be present and will kick off the party at 10.00, together with the mayor Luigi De Magistris.
Subsequently, until noon, Pompieropoli will be set up: it is a path designed to teach road safety to children, through the development of recreational activities
Finally, the long-awaited moment will come: the Befana will arrive who, coming down from the antiscala of the Fire Brigade, will give sweets to all those present.

Racecourse of Agnano
"La Befana arrives on horseback", a show for all children, who can have fun with puppets and guarrattelle of the Neapolitan tradition. The event will take place indoors in a heated area, but there will also be a picnic area with a bar and a refreshment point and an area from which it will be possible to watch the races.
Equip yourself with bikes, scooters, balls and go have fun at the Agnano Hippodrome!

Befana Marina at the Magnificent Aquatic circus
The Befana Marina will surprise all visitors to the circus Magnificent Aquatic, arriving on a jet ski in the large 5 thousand liter swimming pool set up for the show inside the Mostra d'Oltremare! The old lady will distribute to all present many sweets, slices of panettone and pandoro and various cotillons. But be careful… ..because for most bad it will also come from coal!
After the festivities, the circus shows will start.

Mediterranean Theater - Epiphany Concert
Come ogni anno, il Teatro Mediterraneo della Mostra d’Oltremare ospiterà il tradizionale Concerto dell’Epifania. Tanti gli ospiti e le novità, tutte dedicate alla musica, alla religione e alla cultura. Da Claudio Ranieri e Peppino Di Capri fino ad arrivare all’Orchestra di Santa Chiara, il concerto sarò un appuntamento da non perdere.

San Carlo Theater - Special guided tour
A special guided tour will be held at the San Carlo Theater, to allow tourists and citizens to discover the wonders of the oldest opera house in the world. The event will be held on Tuesday 6 January 2015 at the following times:
- Morning: 10: 30; 11.30; 12: 30
- Afternoon: 14: 30; 15: 30; 16: 30
It will not be necessary to book, tickets will be purchased directly at the entrance.
