La Befana will arrive at the Hippodrome riding a horse to distribute sweets and toys to all the children!
L'Hippodrome of Agnano will give a fun day full of gifts to all the children who want to spend in joy 2015 Christmas Party.
The day of the Epiphany will, however, be divided into two as the celebrations will be held both on Sunday 4 January, with solidarity events, and on Tuesday 6 January, with a puppet show and other fun activities.
Sunday January 4 2015
The epiphany, in addition to being a day of fun, will also be an opportunity for helping disabled children thanks to an event organized for January 4th. Sunday, in fact, in the spaces made available by the Hippodrome, there will be a day dedicated to sport and solidarity, organized by the Ippodromi Partenopei with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples, in favor of the children of UNITALSI Naples (Italian National Union Sick Transport to Lourdes and International Sanctuaries).
We will start at 11 in the morning with various games and activities, followed by some educational tours on the world of horses, which will end with a ride on a pony. It will continue at 11.30 with the arrival of the Befana, strictly on horseback, who will distribute sweets and toys to all the children, who can also enjoy pizzas and hot dishes prepared by the UNITALSI sisters
At 12.00 the galloping races will begin, observable from the Roof Garden terrace, where the refreshment point with self-service will be open.
Finally, from the 6 to the 14.oo will be set up US market (open every Sunday), where you will sell handicrafts and antiques made by master craftsmen.
Tuesday January 6 2015
The event will be organized on Tuesday La Befana arrives on horseback, a show in which the protagonists will be guarrattelle and puppets of the Neapolitan tradition. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 500 years of Pulcinella, the much loved Neapolitan mask that will participate in the puppet show. The show will be held indoors in a heated environment, but there will also be the possibility to go outside in the picnic area, made available for the day.
In the green area the little ones can organize a picnic and take advantage of the menu designed especially for them from the Hippodrome. It will be possible to arrive with scooters, bicycles, balls and skates to have fun and play before and after the show.
The bar, the refreshment area and the Roof Garden with a panoramic terrace with a direct view of the races will also be open.
