Befana Village in Piazza Mercato and Piazza del Carmine
Reliving the magic of childhood, Naples celebrates epiphany Befana village in Piazza Mercato. The three-yearly event, from 3 to 5 January, transforms the historic squares into a kingdom of sweets and games, perfect for creating the Befana stocking. On January 3 at 20.00 pm, a special concert in the Church of San Eligio Maggiore adds a musical touch to the party, with the choir of the city of Naples.
Plus, there's the distribution of toys to local children, making the event not only festive but also generous.

The Epiphany at National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa offers a unique experience for families and children. After the success of the Christmas markets, the event is transformed to welcome the Befana 3 7 from January to 2024.
The museum becomes a lively stage with performances a fairy tale theme, parade brooms and a wide range of interactive activities. Children can write letters to the Befana, build their lucky stocking and participate in the Hunt for the Golden Ticket.
On 6 and 7 January, the markets will be animated by a Disney-themed parade with 30 characters and a musical inspired by the film "Encanto". Furthermore, a food area will offer typical Campania products, accompanied by live music, for a rich and engaging gastronomic and cultural experience.
