Welcome to Rione Sanità offers seven days of events and meetings
July 3th - 9th 2015 , the historic Rione Sanità of Naples, during the days of the traditional procession dedicated to San Vincenzo Ferrer, patron of the neighborhood, will become an open-air stage where the event will take place Welcome to the Health District.
An event curated by Mimmo Jodice (who will tell the ward through a photographic exhibition), which he will propose Theatrical guided tours, concerts, shows, animation for the little ones, culinary tastings of territorial excellence. To conclude the program, there will be a show set up in the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità which will see the advent of Alessandro Siani.
The events are free, but participants can support, with a free offer, the campaign "Give a new face to health", Promoted by the San Gennaro Onlus Community Foundation. The district, in fact, needs redevelopment, but in reality it is one of the most beautiful and artistic of the city, with its own Hellenistic hypogea, Catacombs of San Gennaro e San Gaudioso and early Christian art basilicas, which must be preserved from neglect.
