From 4 January 2016 will be revoked the blocking of traffic for Euro 4 and restored the stop to ordinary cars
From Monday 4 January 2016 will be revoked the blocking of traffic intensified expected these days. From tomorrow, therefore, Euro 4 cars will be able to return to circulation and the days and the stop times will be reduced.
The rains of the last hours e the restrictive measures to block traffic in recent days, they have improved air quality and lowered the level of fine dust.
This is why the mayor Luigi de Magistris, after a meeting with the deputy mayor and councilor for the environment Raffaele del Giudice and with the commander of the Municipal Police, Colonel Ciro Esposito, decided to lift the intensified car lockdown, which was to remain in force until January 8, 2016 with a stop to the most polluting vehicles, including Euro 4.
From tomorrow, therefore, the will be restored blocking of "ordinary" traffic based on the old anti-smog ordinance which provides for a device to limit the traffic of private vehicles with emission values higher than the legal limits, for the days of Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30.
In summary, the traffic ban will be addressed to vehicles below the 4 Euro (which come back to circulate) in the following times:
- Monday from 9: 00 to 12: 30 and 14: 30 to 16: 30
- Wednesday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30
- Friday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30
