For the David Gilmour and Elton John concerts in Pompeii, the EAV will provide a comfortable night service with the Campania Express!
Organizing trips for a concert, you know, is not always easy. To meet fans of Elton John and David Gilmour, the EAV - Ente Autonomo Volturno has organized a special service with the Campania Express on the occasion of their concerts.
Il 7, 8 and 12 July 2016, the train will normally lend service during the day, with one special race at 00.40 from the Pompei Santuario station on the Napoli-Poggiomarino line, which will allow the public to move in a sustainable way. They will be scheduled for passengers both a reception service and a security service, with security guards at the station and on board.
The ticket for the night run can be purchased, at the price of normal service Campania Express from Pompeii Villa dei Misteri in Naples, at the ticket office of the Pompeii Sanctuary station or on board the train itself.
The Campania Express is a Latest generation Metrostar especially designed to cope with the growing tourist flow in Campania. The train indeed provides a convenient link between the most visited destinations of the region: Naples, Herculaneum, Pompei, Sorrento.
