Inside the large sports hall of Ponticelli, or the palavesuvio, from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 6th June 2021 there will be a very special appointment because the structure will host i Absolute Italian Fencing Championships.
Just today, in the Antisala dei Baroni del Maschio Angioino in Naples, the press conference for the presentation of the event was held, the realization of which was possible thanks to theMilleculure Association, with the two Olympic champions Diego Occhiuzzi, silver medal in London 2012 for the e Patrizio oliva gold medal in boxing at the Moscow Olympics in 1980.
Italian Fencing Championships at the Palavesuvio
This special event had already been organized last year, but due to the closures imposed for the health emergency for the Covid-19 has been postponed to this year and will in fact be the first national fencing event after the reopening.
It will be a special event, also because it will take place in the outskirts of Naples and will see the athletes involved in the last team competition before Olympic Games which this year will take place in Tokyo.
Everything will take place in full compliance with the anti-Covid protocols 19. Among the guests too great sportsmen which helped bring the National fencing.
