Capri Comics 2014 is in its third edition and this year it will be entirely dedicated to Batman, who turns 75!
There are many Cartoon Fairs which are organized periodically in our areas and which involve hundreds of people from time to time. The most famous and popular is certainly the one held in Naples every year, the Comicon, but also cities like Cava de 'Tirreni host meetings dedicated to comics, as the Cavacon.
One of the next initiatives entirely dedicated to the world of comics will be organized on the island of Capri, not new to traditions of the genre. The Capri Comics 2014, now in its third edition, will take place from 4 6 to September and will have as main protagonist one of the most beloved characters from comics fans: Batman.
Il dark Knight this year performs 75 years and all his fans will be able to celebrate their hero through the boards By Lorenzo Ruggiero, Neapolitan artist who collaborates with Marvel, artistic director and professor at the International School of Comics in Naples. Ruggiero has prepared well 50 boards which he will present to the public on 4 September at the Giardini della Flora Caprense, while the following day he will hold a drawing workshop, in which both young and old will be able to discover the secrets and tricks of the world of illustration.
Capri Comics 2014 will not, however, be dedicated only to the world of comics as it will also be organized table games, chess games, collectible card game tournaments Magic: The Gathering ™ and a cosplay party.
The event, conceived and organized by the Arcadia Cultural Association assisted by the Department of Culture and Cultural Events of the City of Capri, will therefore be an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of games and also to participate in an exciting "hunt for the killer“, A live role-playing game where you can test your investigative skills. In fact, the aim will be to sharpen the senses and find the solution to a yellow which will be consumed in the halls of the event.
