“Contemporanea Italia” is born, a unique card that allows access to 18 contemporary art museums: in Naples there is the Madre!
In Florence she was born “Contemporanea Italia”, a unique card Which unites 18 museums and institutions of modern and contemporary art. The project includes art centers from all over the country: Naples participates with the Mother - Donnaregina Museum of Contemporary Art.
From June to December 2017 card holders, at a cost of 30 euros, will be entitled to a free entry in each of the realities involved. The initiative will be launched on the occasion of the G7 of culture, scheduled for next 30 and 31 March in Florence. The card will be able to buy in each of the participating sites to the initiative.
Il Mother Museum of Naples boasts 7200 square meters of exhibition spaces distributed on the three floors of the nineteenth-century Palazzo Donnaregina. Site-specific installations are set up, collection works and temporary exhibitions. There is also an auditorium, a library, educational workshops and a restaurant with cafeteria.
The project will start experimentally and probably other museums will also join in the coming months.
