Workshops, fashion shows and the great "fucarone" for the 2017 Carnival in the historic center of Naples!
The February 28 2017 at, on the day of Fat Tuesday which ends the period of Carnival, a Grand Procession will parade through the streets of the historical center of Naples.
The Carnival in the Historic Center was born from the collaboration and the territorial and social skills of Zero81, Mensa Occupata, L'Asilo and Santa Fede Liberata. For the preparation of the most colorful and whimsical party of the year, they build paths and workshops which will be a meeting point for local children.
The boys who participate enthusiastically in the activities, are measured with different realities and ludic-artistic and musical experiences. But above all they develop attitudes of sharing and cooperation.
Workshops for children and adults
- 22 February: from the 13.00 workshops for adults to the busy canteen (via Mezzocannone 14) organized by the Popular Gym Vincenzo Leone
- February 25: workshop for children at 15.30 / 17.30 pm at the former Filangieri Asilo (vico Maffei 4)
Route of the Great Procession on Shrove Tuesday:
The appointment on February 28th at 15.00 pm at the Asylum (vico Maffei 4). The stages will be:
- Piazza del Gesù
- Via Toledo
- Piazza Carità
- grand finale with “Fucarone” and party in Piazza Banchi Nuovi
