This year, especially on June 5, 2023, the"Federico II" University of Naples, one of the oldest in the world, will celebrate 799 years since its foundation. A special event for which several appointments have been organized.

Among these will be that of 9 June 2023 at 20:30 in Piazza del Gesù with the unmissable e price quotation concert of Goran Bregovic, the great Bosnian composer who returns to the city after seven years to enchant all the audience with his music. The event is open to all citizens.

The awarding of distinguished graduates

Goran Bregovic: biography

Goran Bregovic was born on March 22, 1950 in Sarajevo. Between the seventies and eighties he founded the band Beate Dugma with which he achieves incredible success. Subsequently, after leaving the band he continues his solo musical career, composing soundtracks for many films, including The Time of the Gypsies, The Arrowfish Waltz and then again Underground and many others.

In 2009 he wrote the song Ovo je balkan, brought from Serbia to the Eurovision Song Contest and in 2012 he was a guest at the Sanremo Festival accompanying Samuele Bersani with his orchestra.
