From Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June 2024 an unmissable event will take place at the suggestive place Village of Fontanavecchia di Faicchio, in the province of Benevento, with the new and highly anticipated edition of Feast of the Snail and Tammorre.
In particular, this will be the sixteenth edition of the event which has now become part of the tradition of this suggestive event village of Benevento. Every year, the Snail Festival is always a huge success with many visitors coming from neighboring countries to participate in this event.
What will be at the Snail Festival
Like every year, in the historic center of the Borgo di Fontanavecchia di Faicchio there will be many stands offering guests the opportunity to taste the typical local dish based on snails which is prepared according to traditional local recipes.
There will not only be snails but also grilled meat, cured meats, cheeses, excellent first courses accompanied by Samnite wines, in short, a menu organized to satisfy all palates. Obviously there will be no shortage of fun with the presence of musical groups pinches, tammurriata and taranta in the alleys who will perform over the three evenings.
