Parades of allegorical floats, gastronomy, sporting events and shows at the Carnival of Saviano 2017!
Starting from January 17 2017, and until March 20 with various appointments, the doors of the Saviano Carnival, a town in the province of Naples.
The Carnival of Saviano has ancient origins and is characterized by the choreographic parade of allegorical floats that are placed in the circuit of the historical center and start together from the various ConTrade. The wagons are made by local artisans with various materials: iron, polystyrene, wood, paper mache and some are made by the workers of Viareggio and Putignano on local projects.
During the various festivities scheduled, they will start with the suggestive Bonfire of Sant'Antonio, in addition to the parades of the wagons, there will be performances of street artists, masked groups, evenings dedicated to gastronomy and a cycling race at the end of the event.
A fun event that every year sees a growing participation of inhabitants and tourists.
