The first and last selection phase of “The Voice Kids" have ended and the 12 finalists were chosen to perform on the March 11 episode.
The presenter Antonella Clerici introduced the first installment with a fictional fairy tale which saw the five coaches as protagonists, showing their baby photos.
The young artists performed on stage trying to win a place in the final, arousing emotions among relatives, coaches and spectators.
A high level of talent for all participants
Despite the young age of the participants, they all demonstrated a very high level of talent. Only 12 of them were selected for the next stage, but they all made their mark.
The teams of the 4 coaches
In the team of Gigi D'Alessio are
- Hilary, 14 years old from Caltanissetta
- Marta of 12 years
- Andrea, aged 12 from the province of Brescia
In the team of Riches and Poors are
- Lorena of 12 years
- Vincenzo, aged 13 from the province of Brindisi
- Geneva, aged 11
In Loredana Bertè's team we find
- Mia, 7 years old, from Agrigento
- Melissa, 12 years old from the Marche region
- Fedora, aged 12, from the province of Milan
In Clementino's team we find
- Zinedine, 12 years old of Tunisian origins
- Ranya, 12 years old of Moroccan origins
- Rosary, 9 years old, from Gela
The three favorites for the final victory
Among the finalists, there are three young talents who seem to have what it takes to get to victory final.
Andrew, a 7 year old boy, has chosen Gigi D'Alessio as coach after surprising everyone with his interpretation of "The night" by Arisa.
Ranya, a 12-year-old girl, sang "Easy on me" by Adele and chose Clementino as coach after receiving a touching message from his father in Morocco.
However, the most surprising performance was that of Melissa, a 12-year-old girl who sang “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys while playing the piano masterfully.
All coaches they pressed the red button for Melissa, except Gigi D'Alessio who has been blocked.
In the end, Melissa joined Loredana Bertè's team.
The final promises to be exciting
Although these three young talents seem to have a better chance of winning, the general level of the finalists was very high, making the competition even more exciting.
The final promises to still offer many emotions and surprises, with the 12 finalists ready to give their best to win the title of best talent of the first edition of "The Voice Kids".
