Chiaja Xmas Run in Naples for 2014 Christmas

A crowd of Santas will run in Naples in the name of charity, on the occasion of the “Chiaja Xmas Run” marathon!

Many events will flood the Neapolitan Christmas 2014, between culture, music, typical products, art and craftsmanship.

We could not miss the appointment with the sport, under the banner of an exciting marathon entitled "Chiaja Xmas Run" which will start from piazza dei Martiri, Sunday 14 December 2014.

In the wake of the known Santa Running, organized every year in Lombardy and in Veneto, the initiative made in Naples will involve men, women and children with a passion for sport and rigorously dressed as Santa Claus.

But what will be the path of the unusual runners?

Starting from the start point, the numerous Santa Klaus will walk about 2,5 Km in double, crossing via Carlo Poerio, via Giousè Carducci, Largo Vasto in Chiaja, vico Belledonne and then back again to Piazza dei Martiri.

Here will be the prizegiving of the first classified belonging to the three categories in the race (male, female and baby), with lots of podium and trophy.

In the heart of the city's most fashionable district, the marathon will be a real show on the street. In particular, in the full Christmas spirit, the event will aim to help and support the work of the church of Santa Caterina in Chiaja that every day dispenses hot meals to the disadvantaged and the less fortunate.
