The most beautiful places in Naples will host "City Film Festival" the event dedicated to the representation of the city!
Napoli is a wonderful city, full of culture, beauty, entertainment, hospitality, history, classicism, modernity, movement and much more.
A list of infinite quality, so wide that you should stop the city and stamp it on a photo or enclose and tell all its treasures in a movie.
And that's why from November 27 to 3 December 2014 will be held "City Film Festival - The image of the city", the first exhibition dedicated to the representation of Naples to be held at the extraordinary scenarios of Grenoble palace, Casa Matania, the Serra di Cassano Palace and the Hagia Sophia.
The festival, led by Silvia Angrisani and Lorenzo Cioffi, will be divided into four sections: Atlas, Neapolitan Views, In Residence and Photography. Four stages that will represent the image of the beautiful metropolis taking advantage of the expressive language typical of documentary and photography.
Specifically, the themes will be developed respectively through the projection of 12 international films in detail selected from the best production of the last three years.
Also scheduled are several lectures and meetings dedicated to the theme "cinema and city" by dthe Ian Christie with a lot of seminars on the communication of documentary cinema and the vision of four short films about Naples, the result of a particularly detailed, intimate and intense documentary work.
And to finish it will not miss the photography which will present Naples through two fascinating exhibitions:
- Naples and Paris in the photograph by Pier Luigi Pretti - at Casa Matania, via Aniello Falcone, 210 and at the Institut Français Napoli Palazzo il Grenoble via Francesco Crispi, 86
- Where the flowers look good by Corrado Costetti - at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies in Palazzo Serra di Cassano via Monte di Dio, 14
