The monumental complex of Santa Maria la Nova will host "The Arrival of San Nicola", the special series of meetings and tastings

Starting from last May 10, up to the 13 June 2015, monumental complex of Santa Maria la Nova will be the protagonist of "The arrival of St. Nicholas", a special event dedicated to music and tasty tastings.

Specifically, the festival came to his 16esima edition, will make available to citizens and tourists a rich program of events, completely free, which will perform important names and new talents of Neapolitan music as, to name a few, the Italian-American tenor Pasquale Esposito, guitarist Joe Barbieri, Loredana Daniele, grandson of the great Pino Daniele and many others.

In this regard, the event includes the music festival "Sounds of My Earth" dedicated to Pino Daniele and with the aim of letting the young Neapolitan singer-songwriters free interpretation and performance.

All surrounded by food and wine tastings, special meetings, conferences, discussions, presentations of books and a lot of Neapolitan presepial art that, for the occasion, will be celebrated in spring thanks to the beautiful exhibition "Nativity in the World" on permanent display.

The initiative, organized by the association Beyond the Cloister, is yet another opportunity to appreciate the artistic, historical and cultural heritage of the city; a Naples that wants to be known, that still has a lot to tell and that it will be worth discovering.
