The Mediterranean Theater of the Show will host the concert of the Epiphany 2014. Inside, the lineup of the evening
After hosting the New Year's concert of the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, the Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples will be the location of the traditional Epiphany concert.
Il 4st January 2014, in fact, the structure will see numerous artists perform and the event will be broadcast live on Raiuno on 6 January in prime time. The concert will be presented by Veronica Maya, one of the most well-known faces of Rai, and the various musicians who will take turns on stage will be accompanied by the recent words of Papa Francesco on brotherhood, solidarity and peaceful coexistence.
The concert was organized by the Oltre il Chiostro association, with the collaboration of Raiuno, and will have among the guests Eugenio Finardi, Roy Paci, Nino Buonocore and Almamegretta. In addition, international names such as the Portuguese Cristina Branco, the Chinese Li Li, who will sing songs by Ennio Morricone, Stella Chiwese of Zimbabwe will perform.
During the evening there will also be space for reflection, when it will be the turn of an Algerian family who, accompanied on the piano, will read some extracts from the speech that Papa Francesco held during a visit to Lampedusa.
This XNUMXth edition will also be an opportunity to award prizes Nativity in the World.
These are prizes that will be awarded to organizations and personalities that “have initiated virtuous paths in the experimentation of new forms of social creativity“, As declared by the president of the Oltre il Chiostro Giuseppe Reale association. Personalities who have therefore found creative solutions to the serious economic and social situation that grips us.
Finally, each artist will be accompanied by the Santa Chiara Orchestra.
