The Certosa di San Martino will be the setting for suggestive artistic conversations over a steaming cup of tea!
The next 29 May 2015, At the Certosa and the Museum of San Martino al Vomero, "Eleganze da Principessa" will be staged, the second round of the extraordinary event "Conversations at tea time" match last 24 April.
In particular, the initiative consists of a cycle of meetings, scheduled on the last Friday of each month until the 26 June 2015, in order to tell the artistic and cultural heritage of ancient Naples, through the works in the Neapolitan museum pole.
The conversations will immerse the participants, in possession of the entrance ticket to the museum, in aspecial atmosphere made up of lace, concerts, attires, hairstyles and much more, discovered through stories, paintings, models and works of art. All embellished with one steaming cup of tea, served, after the meetings, at the museum cafeteria.
The first appointment saw an evocative scene "Concert in an aristocratic drawing room", described by the painter Gaspare Vizzini, who with skilful mastery transported the public to the ancient Neapolitan "beautiful world", where the aristocrats gathered in prestigious salons to listen and be satisfied in the company of suggestive harpsichord, violin, cello and singing of the most exciting female voices.
