The prestigious Chorus of Voices of the Teatro San Carlo will perform at the Gesù Nuovo in Naples: the proceeds will be used for the restoration of the church!
La Church of the Gesù Nuovo in Naples hosts an unmissable musical appointment. It is about the Voci Bianche concert of the San Carlo Theater, who will perform the 27 October 2017. The choir will be directed by maestro Stefania Rinaldi.
The purpose of the event is to present to the public a high-level show, but not only. Admission is by free offer: everyone, with their own contribution, will be able to support the restoration work of the church. There are several initiatives organized by the Jesuit fathers for finance the conservation project.
The thread of the campaign is "Let's rekindle the New Jesus": the lighting system is in fact among the main objectives of the renewal. The restoration will also affect the wonderful the rusticated façade, the 70 wooden busts of the saints and the frescoes of the chapels.
From the 2004 Chorus of White Voices of the Teatro San Carlo involves young people, inviting them to cultivate talent and artistic skills. Over the years the choir has been directed by great masters, like Metha, Tate and Webb.
