The world of entertainment suffers a great loss with the passing of Sergio Solli, the great Italian actor. The sad announcement was made by Bruno Garofalo, set designer of Eduardo De Filippo, these were his words:

And that's right, in fact, Sergio Solli was a great interpreter of Neapolitan comedy and drama. Currently the causes of his death are yet to be ascertained.

Who was Sergio Solli

Sergio Solli was born in Naples and more particularly in the Spanish Neighborhoods in 1944. As a young man he worked as a hairdresser and in a theater troupe at the same time. After a few years, he joined the company of the great Eduardo De Filippo who entrusted him with some important roles in some theater shows such as Exams never end, Christmas in Casa Cupiello, The voices inside and others.

From the eighties he participated in several films with Luciano De Crescenzo and television series.
