After triumphing at the David by Donatello 2023, "Exterior Night“, the event miniseries signed by Marco Bellocchio, is ready to return to the Rai 3 small screen. Bellocchio, former author of “Good morning Night”, back to tell the figure of Aldo Moro and the events surrounding his abduction.
After the presentation at Cannes Festival and subsequent theatrical release, the story finally arrives on TV in a serial format.
The Plot of the Series "Outside Night"
In first episode, set in Rome in March of the 1978, Aldo Moro, Chairman of the Christian Democracy, appears as a man freed from Red Brigades and looks sternly at his party comrades. In reality, Aldo Moro has not yet been kidnapped and is working to give birth to the first unity government in republican history with the external support of Italian Communist Party.
Marco Bellocchio's event series, #OutdoorNight, debuts on Rai 1 with 18,6% and 3.3 million.
