The twenty-eighth edition of Ethnos, the great International Ethnic Music Festival in Naples, will take place from September 7th to October 1st, 2023. The event will take place within the magnificent Villas of the Golden Mile , right on the slopes of Vesuvius.

Specifically, six municipalities will be involved: Ercolano, Naples, Portici, San Giorgio a Cremano, Torre Annunziata, and Torre del Greco. As in previous editions, the festival's artistic direction will be entrusted to Gigi Di Luca.

A rich program of events is planned, featuring major world music artists from 12 different countries, including Angola, Brazil, France, India, Morocco , and others. It will be an opportunity to learn about other traditions and cultures, on a special journey around the world . The program will also include workshops, dance performances, and theater performances.

  • 21:00 at Villa Vannucchi in San Giorgio a Cremano the Ayom concert

8 September

  • 21:00 at Villa del Pernaso in Torre Annunziata Concert by Bia Ferreira

9 September

  • 10am - 30pm at the Royal Palace of Portici Mongolian overtone singing workshop
  • 19:00 Epi concert
  • 21:00 concert by Amrat Hussan Brothers Trio

10 September

  • 18:00 at Villa Campolieto in Herculaneum Tarantella Calabrese and Cilento workshop
  • 20:00 Dance movement company Il Canto delle mani
  • 21:00 at the Urban Park of the Golden Mile Concert by The Southern Band

12 September

  • 21 pm at the Church of Santa Maria Donnalbina Concert by Kayhan Kalhor, Kiya Tabassian and Benham Samani

16 September

  • 19:00 at the Baronial Palace of Torre del Greco Concert by Ana Crisman – Arpa Flamenca
  • 21:00 Molini Marzoli Concert by Bab L'Bluz

17 September

  • 21:00 at Villa Campolieto in Herculaneum Pamela Villoresi in "Of the Prophetess of Spartacus"

23 September

  • 19:00 at Villa Bruno in San Giorgio a Cremano Concert by Seckou Keita

1 October

  • 19:00 at Villa Bruno in San Giorgio a Cremano Final Ethnos Generations theater/dance categories

How to participate

To participate in all scheduled events, you will need to purchase a ticket costing 5 euros, with the exception of the show “Songs of Hope” for which the ticket costs 10 euros.

Tickets are available on the Azzurro Service circuit and at the box offices of the various locations.
