Ethnic music, cultural itineraries and tastings at the 2015 Ethnos Festival!
From the 10 27 2015 September the festival of international ethnic music will take place on Festival Cosa Sarà Ethnos, which will touch various municipalities of the Vesuvian hinterland, such as San Giorgio a Cremano, Ercolano, Torre del Greco, Castellammare di Stabia, Boscoreale, Boscotrecase, Somma Vesuviana and San Sebastiano al Vesuvio.
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its birth, the organizers have planned twelve free concerts and, among the foreseen artists, there will be Moni Ovadia, Teresa De Sio, Marcello Colasurdo, Bombino, representing the nine different ethnic groups and the multiple musical genres.
The festival also established other parallel activities, such as suggestive naturalistic itineraries on the paths of the Vesuvius National Park, unusual theatrical visits to the Vesuvian villas Part 1700, tasty tastings of typical products, a theatrical show, special seminars on folk dances and guided visits to the archaeological sites of Castellammare di Stabia and Boscoreale.
The festival, which you can take part in for free, will establish a dialogue between music and art, in order to enhance the huge cultural heritage of the Vesuvian cities, but with a particular focus on the problems related toimmigration, integrations and the Mediterranean.
