A 45-year-old man, Salvatore Simeone, who had been known to law enforcement for some time, was arrested by the Carabinieri in Ercolano .

According to investigators, the man was found guilty of four robberies in five days , three of which were in pharmacies and one in a supermarket in the Ercolano area.

It was quite easy for the investigators to trace the arrested man because, thanks to the analysis of the surveillance footage and the testimonies , the military were able to quickly trace the robber's identity and reach him.

The search revealed a toy gun compatible with the one used in the robberies and clothing most likely related to the robberies. However, nothing was found about the stolen goods.

After arrest: straight to jail.

Once the routine searches were completed, the soldiers took the man to Poggioreale prison to await validation of the arrest.
