There are many opportunities to discover the artistic treasures of our city and take advantage of many offers to visit them without spending huge amounts.
Il Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, for example, organized one special free guided tour for the day of August, with a ticket to 3,50 euror instead of 7 euro.
The initiative has as its title August with art and is promoted by the marquis Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, member of the Deputation of the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro.
The appointment is in the Cathedral on 15 August to 9: 30, where visitors will be welcomed by the museum director Paolo Iorio who will illustrate the wonders of the Museum and the Sacristies.
At 11: 00 the Marquis Sanfelice will speak about the patron saint of Naples, the miracle of the liquefaction of blood, and the history of the Deputation of the Royal Chapel of the Treasury.
At 12: 00 a drink will be offered to celebrate the ten years of the Ferragosto con arte initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Major Events of the Municipality of Naples.
