The seventh edition of the Festival of Artichoke di Capaccio is coming with a lot of fun and an extensive menu!

The carciofo represents a food rich in beneficial properties and a culinary delicacy to be enjoyed in many and succulent recipes.

Lovers of parties and festivals, therefore, can not miss the 7 ° edition of the Artichoke Festival of Capaccio to be held, from April to 29 3 May 2015, at the suggestive Borgo di Gromola (Salerno).

The event, organized by the cultural association "Il Tempio di Hera Argiva" and with the collaboration of the Consortium for the protection of the Artichoke of Paestum IGP and the OP Terra Orti, will be characterized by a rich program of events including culinary and fun specialties evenings of music, folk songs and dances.

The star of the Festa will, without a doubt, be the appetizing one menu based on the renowned PGI Artichoke. At numerous stands you can taste many goodnesses and typical local products: indigo and fried artichokes, fried pizza with artichoke cream, fried pizza with tomato, pennette with speck and artichokes, bruschetta with artichoke cream and bacon, roasted artichokes, hanged caciocavallo with smell of artichoke, artichoke pizza, fried zeppole and margherita pizza.

All immersed in the wonders of the characteristic hamlet of Gromola, a stone's throw from the Archaeological Area of ​​Paestum, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Not to be missed.
