Gromola, in the municipality of Capaccio Paestum, in the province of Salerno, will once again host the wait Feast of the Paestum IGP artichoke Now in its thirteenth edition, the event celebrates the vegetable that has a place of excellence in Campania agriculture, which boasts a prestigious brand, the Protected Geographical Indication. The party will be held on 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 April and 1 May 2023.

Fried artichokes, grilled and much more

During the event, Gromola will come alive with dozens of stands to show the preparation of exquisite dishes, including the famous artichokes in batter and very fragrant grilled artichokes, cooked hundreds at a time in special charcoal braziers. THE proposed menus they will also include pizzas, french fries and donuts to satisfy different palates. Furthermore, it will be possible to taste excellent local wine, beer and soft drinks on tap.

The Artichoke Festival of Paestum PGI also offers an opportunity to reflect on the themes power supply Contemporary, on the characteristics of the artichoke and on the use of this delicacy in kitchens housewives, all inserted in a dense program of events aimed at the promotion and enhancement of the territory and its pearls to taste.

During the days of the event, visitors will be able to enjoy many initiatives, music and entertainment, in addition to having a large available free parking and a green area dedicated to the recreation of children.
