From 30 September to 8 October 2023 in the wonderful Archaeological Park of Paestum the special and highly anticipated appointment with the International Festival of Hot-air Balloons, now in its thirteenth edition.

The event, every year, is always a great success because it gives guests the opportunity to fly over the valley of the temples, admiring both the archaeological park and the sea from above, for a breathtaking spectacle.

There will be the possibility to choose between multiple flights and there will be no shortage of them buskers, flag-waving performances, kites, a play area dedicated to the little ones and a catering area with bar and pizzeria.

Balloon flights available

You will have the opportunity to choose between bound flight and free fly. In particular, the bound flight will allow you to board a hot air balloon which will still remain on the ground with special ropes and will rise into the air for 20-25 metres. This flight will cost 15 euros for adults and 10 for children. Tickets can be purchased from 15pm. Instead, the free fly it will be carried out without ropes and will reach greater heights.

Saturday 30 Settembre the park will open at 10 am, entry will cost 5 euros from 12 years onwards. At 15:00 pm you can purchase tickets for the bound flight which will depart at 17pm. At 30 pm the preparation and take-off of the hot air balloons for the free fly.

Il 1 October there will be free flights as early as 07, followed by scheduled flights at 30, and the various performances by flag-wavers and musicians from the Feudi del Cilento and Vallo di Diano.

Il 2, 4 and 5 October, free flights will take place at 17 pm 6 October there will be both free and captive flights. Finally, the 7 and 8 October the flights will depart from 07, the event will then close with a great show on Sunday at 30.
