All the events for the 2016 Epiphany in Naples with the delivery of sweets to children and lots of games, shows and concerts!
After the Christmas and New Year holidays, all that remains is to celebrate the Feast of the Befana also to Napoli. In the city there are many events organized by the Municipality and by the various associations to welcome the Befana, both with fun initiatives with either cultural and educational events. Concert of the Epiphany
At the Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare the concert for the Epiphany will take place. It will be held on 4 January, but will be broadcast on TV on 6 January, and will have the main themes migration and environmental sustainability. The main guests will be Enzo Avitabile, which will propose one orchestral version of the famous "My land”By Pino Daniele.
Among the protagonists of the XXI edition, the presence of the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, icon of musical multiculturalism, Hindi Zahra, of French naturalized Tuareg origins and Sara Jane Morris, representative of white soul, should be noted.

Befana at the Museum
In the Pignatelli Museum, recently reopened to the public after restoration work, both adults and children will have fun with the magic of the Befana and the beauty of the rooms of the structure. A visit to the show will be organized carriages from the Museum collection, which will start to move attached to imaginary horses with whips, wheels, coachman and stones. A surprising journey enriched by the imagination of the little ones and made sweeter by the tastings offered.

Waiting for the Befana in Città della Scienza
Also this year Città della Scienza organizes an event for the Epiphany, dedicated above all to children, with naturalistic laboratories, opticians, chemists and of kitchen, sports activities, sensory exhibits, journeys between scientific discoveries and the possibility of getting to know them inhabitants of the sea.

Epiphany night in Piazza Mercato
Like every year, Piazza Mercato will be the location of the Epiphany party between sweets and games, in night between the 5 and the 6 January. It is one of the historical traditions of Naples, one of the most loved by the Neapolitans who on this night have fun to turn between hundreds of stalls full of toys, sweets, socks waiting for the Befana to arrive. In reality, the area occupied by the stands will be one kilometer, starting from Corso Garibaldi and arriving, between narrow streets and alleys, in Piazza Mercato with shops open all night.

Bubble Show with Befana
At the Museo del Sottosuolo in Naples there will be an astonishing event soap bubbles show thanks to the skill of Alfonso Aversa. Befana in Piazza Plebiscito
Like every year, the Epiphany will come in Piazza Plebiscito for distribute sweets and candies to all the children coming down from above. The party will be enriched by the Pompieropoli village, set up by the Fire Brigade, and by the music of the Fanfare, also by the Fire Brigade. A fun and playful event which will also be attended by the mayor Luigi De Magistris.
