On the occasion of the 2016 Epiphany, the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa offers special offers for guided tours for families!
Until 6 January 2016, il Pietrarsa Museum in Naples, it will be open to visitors at a very convenient price, thanks to some special offers dedicated to families.
The structure, which represents a flagship of industrial archeology and railway history, will give the opportunity to 2 adults and 2 guys (under the age of 18) to pay the entrance ticket for only 10 euros instead of 24 euro.
In the promotion it is including a guided tour to discover the locomotives and trains exhibited in the 7 large pavilions of the museum, which reconstructs the evolution of the Neapolitan railway starting from the first convoy of the Naples-Portici, to follow with steam locomotives and three-phase electric locomotives, up to modern trains.
I are of particular interest plastics and railway objects, the naval section and the Royal train, a convoy of eleven wagons, built in 1929 for the wedding of Umberto II of Savoy with Maria José of Belgium, a unique and ancient jewel.
