The beautiful summer evenings start at National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa with three events dedicated to musicals in this suggestive location overlooking the sea and which houses the historic railway wagons.
It starts on July 22 2022 with music much loved by adults and children, Mary Poppins. We will be ready to fly with our original handyman nanny, thanks to the ideas of "But where do cartoons live?”The organizers of the evenings.
Between songs, dances and magic, the arena of the Museum will become a fun and exciting stage for all families thanks to interpretations of the very eclectic and even transformist actors, which will make the shows an unforgettable moment for the little ones.
Mary Poppins in a magical atmosphere
As mentioned, the start of the program of events will be with the musical "Mary Poppins", the magical nanny that arrives flying clinging to the umbrella. She is the nanny of the Benks family and she takes care of the two slightly capricious children. We all know her famous expressions: "Just a little sugar and the pill goes down"and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".
We have all whistled them at least once in our lives, also humming other well-known refrains from the musical, and listening to them in the setting of the Pietrarsa Museum will be even more magical.
Of course, there will also be other characters such as the trusty friend Bert, the chimney sweep, and those Cool that appear during the opera.

Not just musicals, even visits to historic wagons
In these weekends in July and August, during which the musicals will take place, we can also visit the Museum and its historic trains. The vintage wagons will catapult us into another era, discovering how people traveled for about 150 years and throughout the twentieth century.
We may also relax in the gardens overlooking the sea and enjoy a drink or a coffee at the hotel bar.
