The Pietrarsa Museum temporarily hosts a beautiful exhibition of contemporary art starting from April 1st until April 18 2022.

It is a'exhibition of paintings and sculptures set up by abstracture, a modern art movement born only a few years ago, in the early 2000s. It is a collective of artists atracturists is they come from different countries, including Italy, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Greece, Uruguay and Venezuela and whose founder is Rosario Pinto, teacher, historian and critic of contemporary art.

The location is already wonderful in itself, as we know, because the Pietrarsa Museum is unique with its pavilions full of historic carriages, it also overlooks the sea, and with this exhibition the atmosphere will be even more evocative.

The exhibition is free for all museum visitors, so you will only pay for the museum ticket.

The works in between ancient and modern

Inside the Hall of Electric Locomotives the works by 17 artists each of which has given its own distinctive imprint and which are characterized by geometric abstraction contrasted with the traditional and classic lines of the locomotives.

These, in fact, form the background and frame for the contemporary art exhibition, creating a contrast between ancient and modern which, at the same time, is also a metaphor, an invisible thread that binds past, present and future.
