The program of meetings, visits, events and performances in the museums of Naples and Campania for the 2018 Women's Day.
On the day of the 2018 Women's Day, Some museums of Naples and Campania they organized themed visits and events to raise awareness of their collections and, at the same time, focus on the role of women in art. The events will take place between 8 and 10 March.
You can participate in in-depth visits, admire works that tell precise issues, learn the history of some historical figures related to important places of our city and listen to stories to women.
In Naples, the Certosa di San Martino, Floridiana and Museum of Capodimonte the Archaeological Museum of Nola will allow free entry in the province, while in the rest of Campania the Archaeological Museum of Eboli.

Duca di Martina Museum - Floridiana Villa

At the Archaeological Museum of Eboli and the Media Valle del Sele we will talk about the female figure inspired by a selection of finds related to female activities. After a short journey through the collection of containers for perfumes and ointments, “Penthesilea” will be presented, a perfume with strong and sweet notes inspired by the famous queen of the Amazons.
The show will follow "You, like Arcobaleno”, Theater and music performance by Maria Esposito and Gianfranco Marra. In addition, there will be the interpretation of ancient and modern lyrics by Rosamaria Di Ruocco, primary school teacher and Elena Tatchuk, DPI Territorial Committee Association of Campania. Finally, you can taste the dairy products of the Mediterranean Pearl and the cake filled with the cream of the nuns.
