2018 Women's Day in Naples: free educational tours to the Royal Palace and the Archaeological Museum

On the occasion of the 2018 Women's Day there will be two free educational visits to the Royal Palace and the Archaeological Museum of Naples!
The calendar of events scheduled for the 2018 Women's Day in Naples continues to get rich. Royal Palace and the archaeological Museum invite citizens and tourists to two free educational tours think for the occasion: the appointment, not to be missed, is of course for the 8 March.
Protagonists of the stories told will be four important female figures from the past: Maria Carolina of Habsburg, Carolina Bonaparte, Maria Cristina di Savoia and Paola Zancani Montuoro, famous archaeologist Neapolitan. A journey to discover women who they have shaped the Neapolitan history, each with its own original contribution. The visits are organized by the CoopCulture association.
Palazzo Reale, "Three women at the Palace"
All three wives of Neapolitan regents, Maria Carolina of Habsburg Lorraine, Carolina Bonaparte and Maria Cristina of Savoy have left their own imprint in the life of the building and in that of the city. The operators of CoopCulture, through a path in the Historic Apartment, will lead the visitors to discover the stories and the personality of each of them.
Archaeological Museum, "An archaeologist without lipstick"
The archaeologist "without lipstick" is the great Paola Zancani Montuoro, internationally renowned scholar. In a historical period in which the camp was dominated by men, he managed to make his way and bring to light important evidence of antiquity. Among his major discoveries, the temple of Hera Argiva in the Sele area and the findings of the Bronze Age in Francavilla Marittima.
