Gastronomy, entertainment and guided tours at the Maddaloni Valley Apple Festival!
Il 28 and 29 November 2015 the feature will take place Apple Festival of Valle di Maddaloni, in the province of Caserta.
The Pro loco Valle, the twenty-year promoter of the event, for this edition has renewed the target and organized the party close to the Christmas holidays to encourage tourist turnout.
Numerous will be set up during the event food stands where you will taste dishes based on apple such as cakes, pancakes, savory specialties, liqueurs and jams prepared with traditional recipes.
Furthermore, there will be one fun culinary competition, open to all, in which we will challenge ourselves to prepare original dishes with the tasty fruit of sin.
But the novelty of this year lies in the presentation of one dinner - conference, which will also be attended by experts in the sector, culinary critics who will give cues to cook the apple, rich in vitamins and beneficial nutritive properties, and which will illustrate the importance of a diet based on organic and zero-kilometer crops.
Visitors will have the privilege of taking guided tours between apple trees, from which the fruits are harvested while still unripe and then placed on the honeycombs, which are strips of soil covered with straw, on which the apples are exposed to the sun until they take on that intense red color of ripening.
