During the 2015 Eggplant Festival in Preazzano we will taste the tasty vegetable in many original recipes!
Preazzano, characteristic and ancient village of Vico Equense, wonderful city of the Amalfi coast, will host the 23 and 24 August 2015, the 24a edition of the Eggplant Festival.
Just the eggplant will be the protagonist of the festival, during which participants can taste it in different ways, for example in batter, mushroom, made with meatballs. But among the many preparations, the most unusual is the aubergine with chocolate, a typical recipe of the place now become famous even outside the region.
The two evenings will be cheered by live music and various entertainments which will take place in the square, while the "village of young artisans ", a set of stages with stops to admire and buy local artisanal products and food, a territory characterized by culinary art but where ancient traditions are still very much alive.
Furthermore, visitors can visit the church of Vico Equense, rich in 800th century works of art and which this year will propose a painting exhibition created by the young people who attended a summer art workshop of painting.
