Many concerts in Herculaneum for the 2018 Music Festival: the Archaeological Excavations and the MAV are exceptional locations!
Appointment not to be missed in Herculaneum the 21 June for the 2018 Music Festival: exceptional location, symbol of the city at the foot of Vesuvius, will welcome many concerts . They will host the event The Archaeological Excavations and the MAV, the Virtual Archaeological Museum. The children of different Campania schools will perform in classical music and choral performances creating a relationship between past and present. Among the works in the program stand out masterpieces of Bach, Chopin, Vivaldi, Mozart, Donozetti, and important pieces of the Neapolitan tradition, with performances at the mandolin.
Inside the Archaeological Park it will be possible to attend the concerts in some of the most evocative places, like the Terme Maschili, the Collegio degli Augustali, the Nonio Balbo Terrace. To enchant the audience in the concert at the MAV will instead be the New Scarlatti Orchestra, which will perform pieces by Cimarosa, Pergolesi and Paisiello.
