The beautiful spaces of Naples, an ancient street like Via Duomo that hides other streets, spaces, alleys, small squares, cloisters, halls, churches. Architectures that can become locations for unusual representations, for actors who invent a story and tell it to the public as an improvised meeting. Truth and fantasy that are confused.

tell me is a theatrical format experimented over the years in theater meetings that looks to the territory as a unique artistic nourishment, entrusting the actors with the word and invention, suggestion, research, multiplying the attention of the spectators and the imagination of the actors-authors . In recent years i tell me they have been applauded in hundreds of historical, museum and architectural spaces in Campania. Today it is beautiful to tell new stories in Via Duomo, built with imagination, words and gestures, sounds, verses of great Neapolitan poets who build unusual fabrics for quick representations entrusted to the invention of actors who enthusiastically welcomed the invitation to Imago Mundi.

Isa Danieli, Mariano Rigillo, Claudio Di Palma, the guarattelle of Bruno Leone and other actors and musicians of the Neapolitan scene will be the protagonists of the Tell me about Naples and San Gennaro to the Diocesan Museum and other historical places of via Duomo.

San Gennaro Day

Sagrato of the Cathedral of Naples

Sunday 21 September, 21 hours: 00

After the great success of the 2013, the San Gennaro Day: a unique evening to try to support, recognize (from grateful) and applaud those Neapolitans (and not) who every day perform the "miracle" of creativity and social and civil commitment.

Il San Gennaro Day Award swill be a party that mixes the lightest culture with the heaviest one: the feast of San Gennaro is among the very few occasions we have to witness the great show of the meltin pop that only Naples manages to stage. For this reason, alongside the writers and intellectuals on stage, there will be those icons that are the symbol of the people, so that the cultural exchange that is going to be hoped for is concretely realized.

(San Gennaro Day is an idea by Gianni Simioli and Fiorita Nardi - Artistic director: Gianni Simioli - Produced by Jesce Sole)
