NOTICE: the festival on the rocks of Sant'Anna scheduled for July 26 is postponed to July 31, 2017 due to the expected bad weather that would also make it difficult for the parade of allegorical boats in the Bay of Cartaromana.

Also this year, like every year, it will take place at Ischia the traditional Feast of Sant'Anna which since 1932 never ceases to rejoice the people of Ischia and the many tourists who visit the island.
The real festivities will start on July 26 2017, but also some events will be held in the previous days between tastings of typical products, shopping, music, the parade of allegorical boats and the long-awaited fireworks with thesimulated fire of the Aragonese Castle.

The allegorical boats
One of the key events will be the exhibition of allegorical boats, considering huge sets that float, real works of art created by the Ischian builders. On 26 July they will travel the water space of the Bay of Cartaromana as an accompaniment to the procession towards the church of Sant'Anna.
The theme that binds all boats is thetribute to Totò of which this year marks the fiftieth anniversary of his death and the godmother of the event will be Elena De Curtis, granddaughter of the Prince of Laughter.
The tribute to Antonio De Curtis will be done with four perspectives: "Totò and the music"Thanks to the Pro Perrone association of Casamicciola,"Totò and the cinema"With the association Actus Tragicus of Forio,"Totò and poetry"With the association Largo dei Naviganti of Ischia and"Totò and the mask”Thanks to the Pro Loco Lacco Ameno association.

Workshop of Sant'Anna
They will be exhibited historical photos of the party and sketches of allegorical boats. The exhibition will be in Palazzo Lauro to honor local artisans.
24 July
At 17.00: pizza seminar in the Piazzale Aragonese, followed by the Pizza Festival.
to 22.30 free concert by James Senese in Piazzale delle Alghe.
25 July
to 19.00 procession of pregnant women towards the Church of Sant'Anna to ask for grace.
At 19.30, Holy Mass.
Until the 26 July
Guided tours to discover the wind, carbon dioxide emissions due to the volcanism of Ischia. The stops will be in the Aragonese Castle and in the archaeological area of Aenaria

Beach party at the rocks of Sant'Anna
At 21,00, the real party that every year attracts thousands of people in the bay of the Aragonese Castle, curious who lurk on rocks, jetty and hills, but especially on boats and rafts, and admire the passage of allegorical boats.
The evening will be conducted by Gigi and Ross of Made in South with guests Fiorenza Calogero and his popular song, and various readings that will accompany the parade. Finally, there will be the spectacle ofsimulated fire of the Castellor and the pyromusical fires.
Borgo in Festa
The whole village, every day, will be partying with the music of many bands and DJs to dance from night to night.
